L’Amour. The Beauty of Life.

A universal concept, known and experienced by everyone, and yet hard to master.

I never asked myself about what love is until I experienced a painful event that shattered my world - rejection. As I was looking for someone who could make me feel loved and safe, I unintentionally lost myself in the process. I was playing it small, I was playing it safe. This game was forcing me to create a false image of myself, simply to be accepted. Blindsided by my ego in so much need of attention and love, I refused to admit it was all coming from fear - the opposite of love.

Without knowing, I was slowly getting disconnected from my authentic self - rejecting the only person who could give me what I needed, myself.

In my search for meaning and to know myself better, I got to experience beautiful transformations without being able to clearly put some words on what love truly means.

Until it gets me.

I am Love. You are Love. We are Love.

There is no detour. There is no hunting. There is no game, nor manipulation.

L’Amour we are looking for outside of us is no longer love - it’s an act of rejection. How to experience love when we cannot accept ourselves just the way we are? How to share love when we don’t have enough for ourselves? How can we expect to get from others what we can’t offer ourselves?

There is beauty in love. There is beauty in self-love. Unconditional love.

But how to get there? We’ve been used to constantly judging ourselves to the point of rejecting our true self - in a way to be accepted. We keep repeating we are not good enough, smart enough, beautiful enough - giving full power to the inner voice that controls our life and decisions.

You have the power to shift to a heart-centered life and hunt for the love inside you.

Start with self-awareness [truth]. Be. Be present in the now and look at your wounds with the eyes of truth. See how you’re acting and reacting. Listen to your thoughts and feelings. Identify your needs and find a way to meet them. Pay attention to the stories you’re telling yourself - don’t believe in them. With awareness, you develop your free will, you now have the choice and become responsible - for creating your new truth.

Move forward with self-acceptance [forgiveness]. Start with complete acceptance of your body. See yourself the way you are. See yourself with the eyes of love. Take care of yourself, take care of your body - your asset in this life. Pause and ask yourself “What do I need?”, then, act on it. Create this beautiful relationship with yourself, that will have a ripple effect on the relationships you’ll have with others.

Finally, practice self-love [love]. You already have the love you need. Love yourself just the way you are - so you can love others. Learn to create this unconditional love for yourself so you never reject yourself again. The richness of the love coming out of you is the only way to true happiness. Practice love. Practice self-love. Unconditional love.

It all comes down to the love we have for ourselves, that will increase exponentially the love we have for others.

You are what you believe you are.

Be the light in the track of Love. You are love.
